A Game-Changing Development in Bracknell

Bracknell’s former bus depot is set to undergo a grand transformation into a 155,000 square foot development of luxury residential apartments, following SevenCapital’s acquisition of the site in February.

The Grand Exchange, as the new development will be known, will feature a mix of ultra-modern, loft-style studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, across ten floors, ranging in size from circa 450 square feet for a studio, to 1,043 square feet for the largest two-bed.

Features within the development will include a gym and attractive, interactive communal areas, including a residents’ garden room and co-working space. It will also include a bookable private dining room for residents who want to entertain a number of guests in an attractive restaurant-style setting, as well as rent-to-use spa-quality treatment rooms.

With the increasing emphasis on creating carbon neutral environments, communal areas will be powered by solar energy, and the car park will initially include two electric car charging points, with the infrastructure for 37 should the demand prove higher, along with 340 cycle spaces.

The development is set to be a game-changer for Bracknell -which is already enjoying an incredible transformation through more than £770 million of investment – and will raise the bar for luxury town centre apartment living, which is still a relatively new concept within the area.
